Hello and welcome to the site of jazz guitarist, composer and teacher Jeffrey Hewer.
During the pandemic we made the move to the village of Farsley, in the west end of Leeds. It's a lovely spot, and I now have room for guitar lessons and rehearsals!
In the summer of 2022 I recorded 5 of my songs with an amazing quintet. I'm super thrilled to play with these great musicians (and people) and I'm looking forward to getting this out into the world soon!

In the autumn of 2015, Jeffrey crossed the Atlantic from Toronto to attend Leeds College of Music for his Masters in Jazz Performance and Composition. During and after finishing his Masters degree he has been performing in Leeds and around the UK with other members of the local jazz scene. He worked with Stuart McCallum, Mike Walker and Jamie Taylor as part of his studies.
In late 2018 he recorded with his trio at Valley Wood Studio in Leeds. Check out the video page for the video taken during the recording session.
